ANNUAL RIDE FOR LIFE FUNDRAISER OCT 11, 2008

We would like to thank the Bikers who rode from Wynne to the Helena Blues Festival

and a BIG THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who helped!  We raised over $5400.00!

 

 

Ms. Jane Laws in the middle from the Quilter's group. In December we raised 729.55 through our annual Quilt raffle.  The quilt was made and donated by the ladies of the Forrest City First Baptist Church's Caring Touch Quilter's group   The winner of the beautiful quilt was Jennifer Hamrick (pictured on the right) of Wynne.  Thank you to all of our volunteers who helped sell tickets and we praise the Lord for the ladies from the First Baptist Church of Forrest City for donating their time and and talent for making quilts to Concepts of Truth.  

The 4th Annual MidSouth Benefit Ride For Life was Saturday, October 6, 2007.  We had over 50 riders and the weather was beautiful for the ride to Helena.  We raised $5,485.00 during this event, and we want to say thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, contributors and riders for making this another great Ride For Life!    
     

     

2007 Banquet Highlights

 

 

 

Text Box: A Hawaiian Luau for Life!  Our 6th Annual Fundraising Banquet was a great success!  Laura Stryker from Montanna gave an awesome Helpline testimony along with Luke Conner on the violin, other client testimonies and Fr. Ed Graves performing Blue Hawaii!  Our banquet offering was $7,457.00.  Our largest ever!  Our table sponsorships, contributors and offering total $19,049.00 to date.  We had $4,764.53 in Banquet expenses.  So, our net Banquet income is $14,284.47 to date.  We thank each of you who gave so generously and for those of you who have made monthly pledges.  Our attendance was 330!

Archived NEWS:  SOUTH DAKOTA

Millie Lace, Director volunteered at the Vote Yes for Life Campaign in South Dakota Oct. 15-22, 2006.  The latest report from South Dakota shows a 72% caller  conversion among undecided voters after citizens in South Dakota hear testimony from women who have experienced abortion.  In Oct. 2005 Millie gave testimony to the Legislative Task Force studying the effects of abortion on women.  Millie entered statistics from the National Helpline calls that were included in the task force report.  Please pray for Life in South Dakota!

                                    FRUIT FOR THE LABOR!!
                               

 Melinda Chisum (pictured far left) recently attended a volunteer training at Concepts of Truth.  Melinda came forward three years ago to begin her journey of healing from abortion.  Melinda has been on Faces of Abortion on Sky Angel One with Dail and Millie and has assisted with the Operation Outcry event at the state Capitol.  The most exciting news is that Melinda is now opening a care pregnancy center in Morilton, Arkansas and is pictured here with her newest trained volunteers!  God is about multiplying and dividing His Kingdom!!
