Adoption is Beautiful!     Meet Alexa Mae......

On Mothers Day, May 11, 2008 Alexa Mae was born and we had the awesome privilege of facilitating her adoption!  Adoptive parents and her sisters are very proud!  Thanks to all who continue to pray and support this life-giving ministry!

2008 Annual Fundraising Banquet!

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped with the 2008 Banquet.  We are so glad that 2 of our helpline staff members,  Jackie Bullard (and daughter Arabella) and Alicia Whitley were able to attend and share their testimonies.  Also we want to say thank you to Carol Everett, who was our speaker.  The love offering was $6,094.00 and we praise God for the generosity of our guests.  Also, we want to thank our volunteers and servers because without them we could not have a successful banquet.

Congressional Briefing

Washington, DC

In January, Millie traveled to Washington, DC.

Wow, what an awesome time of seeing God’s hand everywhere we went!  From January 14– January 24, Joyce Zounis (Colorado) and I presented the truth in love.  As we shared our stories of how abortion negatively affected our lives and the resources we have for recovery, people listened!  We presented the Documentary, “I was wrong.”, at the Students for Life Conference, Catholic University, DC, the Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center volunteer training, the Catholic Information Center Bookstore and at a Congressional Briefing!  We also visited approximately 17 individual congressional offices across party lines to build relationships and show the trailer to the documentary.

The documentary, “I was wrong.” features Norma “Roe” McCorvey and Joyce Zounis.  To see the trailer, go to  http://www.iwaswrong.info/  This is an awesome way to present the lies surrounding the 35 years of legalized abortion.  The documentary refers to Concepts of Truth’s National Helpline for Abortion Recovery.  We are so thankful that many will watch the video and be referred for healing after abortion.

Training at the Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center

While in Washington, Joyce Zounis and I were honored to
become acquainted with the volunteers and staff at the Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center.  It was great to be able to show them the documentary and discuss training methods for abortion recovery which they are about to start.  Janet Durig, Director pictured fourth from left also joined us at the Congressional Briefing.  It was great to be able to introduce her and their pregnancy center as a local resource for any needs the congressmen may have dealing with pregnancy related issues or legislation.
